ATU 757 is proud to share that over the past month, we partnered with California Transit Works! to deliver vital Fundementals of Electrical Electronics training to our maintenance teams at Lane Transit District (LTD) and TriMet.

Led by Russel Anderson, Director of Bus Maintenance Training at California Transit Works!, these three hands-on sessions gave maintenance workers the chance to strengthen their basic electrical troubleshooting skills, sharpen diagnostic techniques, and build confidence working on complex transit equipment.

We were also joined onsite by the ATU International Workforce Development Team - Eliseo Acosta, Rich Diaz, and Kevin Kinoshita - whose support helped ensure the training ran smoothly and effectively for all participants.

This important effort was made possible by the H1-B grant that ATU International applied for and included ATU 757 as a local partner. Thanks to this grant, ATU 757 can continue working alongside our transit agency partners to deliver critical training and development opportunities to the maintenance workforce, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and resources to keep our transit systems running safely and efficiently.
