We hope all injured in this accident on the Washington, DC Metro early morning recovery quickly. We commend the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee for introducing the Transit Workforce Development Act. Safety needs to come first at Halifax Transit needs for the sake of our Local 508 members and riders. Our Chicago, IL, Locals slammed this autonomous vehicle bill as dangerous for public safety and bad for the community and workers. Local 128-Asheville, NC, calls rehiring of poor-performing RATP Dev bad for riders, workers, and the community.
