UFCW Local 555 is calling for a boycott of Fred Meyer stores!! Although many hard-working laborers were struggling to support their families, the company admits to INTENTIONALLY raising their prices above the inflation rate... WHILE continuing to engage in unjust labor practices towards their employees.

Over 4,500 workers from the Portland-area Fred Meyer recently concluded a six-day strike against Unfair Labor Practices, receiving significant support from other union members and the broader community. Unfortunately, Kroger management has failed to commit to ending unfair labor practices or held up their end at the bargaining table.

Moreover, Kroger's actions are impacting consumers too. The FTC's interrogation during the Kroger-Albertson’s merger proceedings uncovered INTENTIONAL price-gouging!!

That’s why Fred Meyer workers are calling on the community to shop somewhere else until Kroger ceases its price inflation and offers workers a fair contract that:

• Guarantees equitable wages
• Provides health and welfare security
• Enhances retirement benefits for all employees
• Honors existing contractual commitments to employees

ATU Local asks that EVERY union support the boycott— Please DO NOT shop at Fred Meyer until a fair contract is reached!!
