Attention TriMet Operators - Saturday, April 5, 2025, expect the potential for large crowds and a heightened police presence in downtown Portland. Portland Police are taking a pro-active approach and will discourage any violence at the events. The largest demonstration will be in downtown Portland and include a planned march.

Operators:

• There will be demonstrations throughout the Portland Metro area starting at 9:30 and continuing until about 16:00.
• The main rally and march will be on the Waterfront beginning at NW Natio and Couch beginning at 12:00 through 16:00.
• Marches may affect bus movement.
• Events should not affect train movement.

Contact dispatch for directions if:

• Law enforcement directs you to make any route changes.
• You see potential problems developing around your route.

Possible service adjustments may be needed due to crowds and to emphasize employee and customer safety.
