The Northwest Oregon Labor Council has created a website to help members who reside in the Portland Metro Area understand the new Ranked Choice Voting system, specifically for Portland City Council and Mayoral upcoming elections. Please scan the QR code to access their website with more information on ranked choice voting and the candidates endorsed by the union.
Remember to cast your vote in the upcoming elections to ensure that your voice is heard loud and clear!
In Oregon, official drop sites will start accepting ballots on Oct. 16, the same day ballots will start to be mailed. To be counted, voted ballots must be received at any County elections office in Oregon or Official Ballot Drop Site location by 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2024, or postmarked by Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Ballots also can be dropped off at county clerks' offices from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
