Attention active and retired ATU 757 members. TriMet is partnering with Mercer Health & Benefits Administration, LLC. (Mercer) to conduct an audit to verify the eligibility of enrolled spouses or domestic partners covered under healthcare plans as of December 1, 2023, for both union and non-union employees and retirees.  This is considered a best practice and an important way to safeguard public funds.  To continue providing quality and affordable healthcare coverage to employees, retirees, and dependents, TriMet has a responsibility to ensure only eligible dependents are provided coverage under TriMet’s healthcare plans. 

A letter and checklist will be mailed to employees and retirees on June 20, 2024.  They will be required to review the Plan’s eligibility requirements and provide substantiation to continue coverage for their eligible dependents and remove any ineligible dependent(s).  All responses are due to Mercer Health & Benefits Administration, LLC.  (Mercer) by July 30, 2024 and can be submitted via secure website, faxed or mailed directly to Mercer by July 30, 2024.
