TriMet has confirmed that the one-time loss attendance policy is now being applied to all employees, including Mini Run Operators. MRO employees who were unjustly placed into a time loss status will receive a letter correcting their status based on the correct version of the attendance policy. 

UPDATE: 

The current contract, which establishes a single policy for both Mini Run Operators and Full Time Operators, was misinterpreted and reverted to the previous two policy structures, one policy for Mini Run Operators and another for Full Time Operators. This resulted in some employees being incorrectly placed into time loss status.

TriMet is now conducting an audit of MROs placed into time-loss status. If it is determined that you were placed into time loss status in error, you will receive a formal letter correcting your status in accordance with the policy outlined below. If you do not receive a letter and believe you were incorrectly placed into any time loss step, please contact your union officer to request a time-loss audit.
