Rally for PPS Special Ed Bus Drivers on August 14th

Rally For PPS SPED Bus Drivers on August 14th!

Portland Public Schools’ SPED school bus drivers are still fighting for a fair contract after over a YEAR of negotiations, and the District has now decided to impose its final offer on drivers without a vote!

PPS is playing both sides of this negotiation process. At the bargaining table, they claim everything is fine. In reality, they know it’s not enough.

Our students deserve high-quality home-to-school transportation services, but we can’t afford to keep working for the low wages PPS is imposing on us.

Let’s show the Board that drivers, parents, and our community are united! Join us for a snack & cool beverage before entering for school board meeting. Families are welcome. Beth Blumklotz will be speaking to the Board.

WHAT: Rally for a fair contract for PPS SPED drivers

WHEN: 5:15pm on Tuesday, August 14th, 2018

WHERE: 501 N Dixon St., Portland

DON’T FORGET TO WEAR A YELLOW SHIRT IN SOLIDARITY!
