On Friday, March 21st, ATU 757 Vice President Henry Beasley and Executive Board Officer Bill Bradley attended a discussion with Representative Janelle Bynum along with Labor Leaders from across Oregon. Topics discussed were activating Union Members on issues that impact their daily lives. From Collective Bargaining Rights, Social Security, and Healthcare, Representative Bynum was interested in knowing the thoughts and opinions of those in attendance. Labor Leaders expressed that Union Workers raise the standards for all workers. It's not Union vs Non-Union in their minds, rather workers fighting for a fair shake and a seat at the table, which Organized Labor helps achieve. 

Representative Bynum, a political moderate, expressed gratitude for everyone's attendance and willingness to serve their members. She hopes to continue to host these discussions to stay informed on how workers are thinking about issues while she serves in Congress.
