ATU 757 was proud to award union member and Valley Transit Operator Andrew Bumgarner with an ATU 757 "Our Hero" Award.
When a man was shot outside his bus, Andrew was quick to take action. He got the victim onto his bus and drove him to the closest hospital, ultimately saving his life.
On behalf of ATU Local 757, we proudly honor Andrew's extraordinary act of valor. When the moment demanded courage, he answered without hesitation. His actions protected others and proved that one person’s bravery can leave an immeasurable mark. Please join us in recognizing and thanking Andrew for his meaningful commitment to the well-being and safety of those around him.
