03/06/2026 - This month, we continue to wait for two arbitration decisions. Three additional cases are scheduled to be heard in the first couple of weeks of March. We have also begun a thorough evaluation of all grievances at the arbitration level and are finding that the previous administration often did not submit document requests or fully investigate cases before advancing them. Our Local 192-Oakland, CA, members pack AC Transit Board meeting slamming agency for violating their contract with healthcare change. Our dedicated Boston Carmen’s Local 589 members are critical to keeping the MBTA a reliable for the people of Boston. Our Local 1775-Barrie, ON, members will do what’s necessary to get the fair contract they deserve, but remain committed to reaching a deal for the sake of our riders and community. CTA’s new safety falls short in protecting our Chicago members and riders.
